Coastal Kayak Tours

The Haleiwa Kayak Tours located on the north shore of Oahu are always a lot of fun.  Kayaking is a great way to experience this historic surf town from the water much like Hawaiians did. When you arrive in Halewia your guide will have all the equipment ready that you will need for a fun day of kayaking. Seats, Paddles, leashes and Kayaks are all provided.  You will also be provided with a Soft Cooler.  Depending on the length of your tour the Soft Cooler will be stocked with water, drinks, snacks, or lunch.  American Red Cross Certified Guides will give you a Kayak Paddle Lesson if needed and a Safety Briefing of the kayaking area. The guides are there to provide you a safe environment and to give you local insight to the history, wildlife, and historic monuments that are located in the area. The guides can either paddle with you or stay at a safe distance to give you the ultimate privacy.  

    On the Haleiwa Kayak Tours you will encounter and see lot of different things. You will be able to explore the Anahulu River, the Rainbow Bridge, the Haleiwa Harbor and the War Memorial.  Turtles thrive in this area and commonly cruise in and out the river. Dolphins do frequent the harbor mouth and are known for performing aerial shows. During the winter months, weather permitting, there is a good chance you will see Humpback Whales breaching and spouting in the distance. Monk Seals can sometimes be observed basking on the beach. The Iwa Bird is also home to this area and they can be seen flying high over head. Snorkeling in this area is really good. Located just off shore are some awesome coral formations with schools of colorful fish. The beaches here a very nice and not crowded compared to Waikiki. Great Swimming and Sunbathing is found on the warm sandy beaches of Haleiwa.
